The unit, which offers 9 levels of impulse/stimulation, a 400-yard range and a limited two-year warranty
against manufacturing defects, has been on the market
for just over one year and utilizes advanced technology

crowded band which can cause disruptions in communication between the transmitter and receiver.
The Remington Sidekick is FCC approved at 915
MHz, a broader, clearer band which provides a more
reliable connection.

MHz band provides allows for a
clear connection through obstructions such as heavily wooded
areas and also offers the benefit
of using long life 3V replaceable
batteries, which eliminates the need for rechargeable
components.
Another benefit of operating at 915 MHz is that it al-
lows for a lightweight, compact transmitter that weighs
just 1 ½ oz. and does not require an external antenna
(nothing to accidentally break off). The transmitter is
glove friendly.
Operation at 915 MHz also allows for the unit to uti-
lize 500,000 unique ID codes which eliminates the possi-
bility for unwanted correction from other transmitters.
Another example of what sets the Remington Side-
kick apart from competitor models is its patented CRS™
technology (Consistent Reliable Stimulation), which de-
livers a consistent level of stimulation regardless of the
circumstance or condition. For example, if you stimu-
late your dog at level 3, the stimulation level will never
“dive” or “jump” (it will remain consistent) regardless
of if the dog is dry, wet, in water or has thick fur.
The waterproof, dependable collar receiver ( 3 oz.)
is able to work with one length
of probes. Competitor models
require short, medium or long
probes, depending on the thick-
ness of the dog’s coat.
The Sidekick offers four programmable modes:
1.) Impulse/stimulation with tone
2.) Tone with impulse/stimulation delay
3.) Impulse/stimulation without tone
4.) Tone only (level 0)
