Auto-Ordnance Corporation’s M1 . 30 Caliber
Carbines are Faithful Reproductions of
Original Models Produced Entirely in the US
Since Kahr Arms purchased the Auto-Ordnance Corporation in 1999 our goal has been to preserve
the legacy of this historical company. Auto-Ordnance
is the original maker of the famous Thompson subma-chine gun. Besides producing the Thompsons during
WWII, Auto-Ordnance also produced major M1 . 30
caliber carbine components under contract from IBM.
The current production Auto-Ordnance M1 . 30 carbine
caliber models represent Auto-Ordnance’s continued
commitment to produce WWII era weapons for a new
generation of firearms enthusiasts.
Auto-Ordnance produces three models of the Auto-
Ordnance M1 . 30 caliber carbine, model designations
are AOM130, AOM140 and the AOM150. The AOM130
and the AOM140 have the same specifications and fea-
tures except the former is shipped with a new 15 round
magazine and the latter is shipped with a new 10 round
magazine for sales to New York, Massachusetts, and
Maryland. The AOM150 is a replica of the “Paratrooper
model” and features a folding wire stock with a leather
cheek piece and brass rivets attaching the cheek piece to
the stock. All the models have American walnut stocks
and hand guards, parkerized receivers, flat bolts, flip-
style aperture rear sights and a push-button safety.
