Defense Only Coverage For Certain ATF Proceedings Endorsement
is the latest protection added to the
NSSF endorsed Firearms Business
Insurance General Liability Policy.
This Endorsement will pay reasonable and necessary “defense costs”
in defense of any proceeding (
warning conference, revocation hearing,
judicial review) coming out of any
ATF record keeping or administrative action. This endorsement specifically applies to firearms dealers,
firearms wholesalers, and gunsmiths.
Under this endorsement, the insurance carrier will defend insureds
up to $25,000 against any proceeding to which this insurance applies.
Additionally, the carrier will work
with insureds to select an attorney,
CPA or other professional knowledgeable in such proceedings and
recognized to practice before ATF.
